Elizabeth M. Mort Elizabeth M. "Lib" Mort, 69, of 689 Basehoar School Road, Littlestown, died Thursday, April 1, in York Hospital. Born May 21, 1929 in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. J. Norman and Vergie Bowers Utz. She was married to John S. E. Mort for 48 years. Mrs. Mort was a member of Piney Creek Church of the Brethren, Taneytown, MD., the Women's Fellowship and was active in the choir. She was a frequent organist at the church. Mrs. Mort was also a member of the Hanover Organ Club and the Littlestown High School Alumna. She was a 1947 graduate of Littlestown High School. She had worked many years at the Cambridge Rubber Company, Taneytown, MD., and at A & P Stores in both Littlestown and Hanover. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Deborah M. Waltz and Diana F. Holloway, both of Hanover; and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, James E. Mort and one brother, Clifton C. Utz. Funeral services will be held at 10 Am Tuesday at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown, with her pastor, the Rev. Wayne A. Hall, officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Taneytown, MD. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Elizabeth M. Mort Funeral services for Elizabeth M. "Lib" Mort, 69, of Littlestown, who died Thursday, April 1, in York Hospital, were held Tuesday at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown, with the Rev. Wayne Hall officiating. Interment was in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jason Waltz, Tim Waltz, Howard Mills, Mike Pusker, Harold Leister and Jack Hart.
