Text: Gettysburg Times July 24, 1933 Henry A. Utz, of Hanover, died at the home of his father, Silas K. Utz, near Taneytown, Friday night at 6:25 o'clock from complications. He had been in declining health over a period of eighteen months and for the past eighteen weeks had been confined to his bed. He was removed to his paternal home about seven weeks ago. He was aged 28 years. Besides his parents he leaves his wife who was before marriage Miss Ruth V. Hetrick, and the following brothers and sisters: J. Norman Utz, Littlestown; Mrs. Ruth Wilson, Bridgewater, Virginia; Mrs. John Teeter; Gettysburg; Woodrow W., Francis M. and Miriam O. Utz at home. Funeral services were conducted this afternoon, meeting at the Silas K. Utz home t 1 o'clock, with further services in the Bethel Church of the Brethren Elder Clayton F. Bucher officiating, assisted by Elder J. M.Stauffer, Hanover. Interment in Mt. Olivet cemetery, Hanover.
Text: Thoman - Utz 1-30-1941 Miss Ruth V. Utz and William L. Thoman, both of Hanover, were united in marriage by the Rev. George A. Early, pastor of the Churchof the Brethren, Westminster, MD, Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. The ceremony was performed at the home of Rev. Mr. Early. The couple were unattended. Following the ceremony, they started housekeeping in a newly furnished home at 888 York Street, Hanover.
