Text: Gettysburg Times October 20, 1921 Death due to Accident That the death of Harvey S. Utz, of Taneytown, who died in the Frederick Hospital as the result of a fractured skull, was due to an accident was the opinion of a coroner's jury Tuesday evening. Testimony was given at the hearing that Utz was riding a motorcycle near Taneytown last Wednesday night and that he crashed into a buggy in which James Hill and his son were riding. The vehicle was properly lighted, it was said. Both wheels of the buggy were smashed and Utz was hurled from the machine to the road where he was picked up unconscious. He was taken to the Frederick Hospital where he died several days later.
